Dear Apple Blossom Families and Friends, VOLUNTEERS!!! What do we do without you? Your presence and support is felt in every aspect of Apple Blossom. The staff relies on your dependable help with class activities and special events. Your presence on field trips allows us to take Apple Blossom students to experience the rich resources of the West County. Jennifer Simpson, Bee editor, and Jennifer Voight, yearbook editor, put in countless hours to bring us their fine efforts. Under the able leadership of Rachael Fitch, The Twin Hills Apple Blossom Educational Foundation generates the resources we so depend upon to bring us physical education, new technology, art, music, and story telling. Many of you share your special talents and passions – from poetry to plays. Apple Blossom students will forever recall their special overnights to PEEC and Angel Island. We so appreciate all that you do for us to make Apple Blossom the special school that it is. Thank you. Jill Rosenquist Apple Blossom's VisionThe mission of Apple Blossom School is to nurture our students’ creative and critical thinking, academic proficiency, global awareness, appreciation for diversity and respect for themselves and others in a continually changing technological world. By experiencing a project-based curriculum, Apple Blossom students prosper from the integration of art, music, gardening, science, technology and physical education into the fabric of a rich and rigorous program founded on high academic standards in all subject areas. Our vision acknowledges and celebrates parent and community involvement as Apple Blossom students develop into responsible and resilient citizens who have a love of learning and who are prepared to make positive contributions in a complex world. |
